Project Coordinator/Executive Assistant

(Part-time)

We are seeking a highly skilled administrative professional trained in a variety of tasks to serve as a part-time (10-15 hours per week) Project Coordinator and to provide administrative support for the organization president.

 

We require a proactive self-starter with the ability to work successfully in the virtual sphere and to pivot quickly in a changing environment, enthusiasm for documentation and organization, and the ability to multi-task. Ideally, the candidate will live near Chapin, South Carolina and will be able to meet in-person with the president as needed while continuing to conduct most job duties remotely.

What Winning Looks Like

  • Serve as the executive assistant for the president of Iron Sharpens Iron (calendar management, scheduling and attending meetings, taking and distributing minutes)

  • Create and format detailed reports in Work and PowerPoint presentations

  • Serve as virtual producer and provide meeting management of virtually-facilitated meetings (manage Zoom breakouts, Google slides, monitor chat box, assist with technical issues, conduct audio checks of participants)

  • Prepare packets and printed materials for face-to-face meetings

  • Serve as scribe for virtual and in-person meetings

  • Manage firm’s bi-weekly newsletter distribution through Mail Chimp

  • Assist in coordinating multiple projects and deadlines

  • Support event-planning and assist president in facilitating large meetings in-person

  • Data entry as needed in Survey Monkey and Microsoft Excel

  • Conduct research helpful for client work

  • Organizing content

  • Track business receipts in a monthly spreadsheet

  • Update website and Twitter accounts as needed

​Skills Needed to Win:

  • Over five years of experience providing administrative support to an executive or a team

  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Skilled at creating and updating documents on Google and Zoom platforms

  • Project coordination and project management experience

  • Highly organized with strong writing skills

  • Comfortable working remotely

  • Extremely reliable and trustworthy

  • Track record of excellence in “ordinary” tasks
